  •   The atmosphere was lovely. Local dogs made for a very homey feel. Got a meal to take with me. Think it would have been better to eat there. Boars pie was good though the roasted vegetables were a little undone. Very friendly, and accommodating.

  •   Whilst staying in the area thought we would try the Angel on a recomendation. Not good. Were ignored whilst she carried on her convrrsation with the locals. So walked out. Back the the Lamb next time. Much better service

  •   After hours of hiking the Wiltshire countryside, stopping at an old traditional pub is like being in Heaven. That said, you can always step into a bad pub ... or a better one! The Angel Inn in Hindon is the latter. But not just a good place, it is actually a FANTASTIC pub. The food is awesome, freshly prepared and cooked to perfection ... as you would expect. The drinks aplenty ... as you would expect! The atmosphere great, fun and friendly ... as you would expect! What you wouldn't expect though is the staff, and particularly the pub owner, to go the extra mile and out of his way to make sure we wouldn’t miss our last train back to London when no taxi nor room were available for the night; a helpful move by someone who did his upmost to get us back safely. And such an unexpected act of generosity alone makes the Angel Inn a place well worth visiting!
